Prashna – Analysis on the Fly

Prashna (प्रश्न) literally means, in modern usage, “question, query, inquiry” and is the quickest form of analysis – So is termed as Analysis on the Fly. The Prashna branch is another unique division of Vedic Astrology. When a person asks a question to an astrologer, based on the time at which the question is asked, a horoscope is made for that time and date. With the help of this chart the astrologer predicts about the events that are going to take place.

A Prashna Kundali can also be cast when the person coming to the Astrologer  does not have any accurate detail about his birth, like the time, date or place of birth and needs to get answer to his query. In absence of these necessary inputs the astrologer makes a horoscope of the time when the person asked him his question which has been in his mind.

It is best to ask just one question for Prashna. This answer is very much contained in the Universe and answered as such. However, the question should not be casual or frivolous. It needs to have an intensity for it to be answered as such.

There are certain combinations to decide the validity of the question and the sincerity with which it has been put forward to the Astrologer.

Here, the question was asked as such- The person was working in a Private Company as HR and ADMN for the last 22 years and was thinking of leaving it due to change in work culture. He wanted to know if he could quit the job and start something of his own while spending more time on his internal growth.

Ans- The job would fade itself out as Lagna Lord, 2nd and 11th Lord Mercury of steady wealth accumulation and 3rd and 10th Lord Venus of courage and profession respectively are with Ketu in 6th House. This cuts out the above prospects to a great degree suggesting that the job is on its way out.
