Gemini – The Glib Tongued Communicative Warrior of the Zodiac

As sister Taurus was meandering her way out of the chambers, on the other side, the glib tongued Gemini came forward to receive his gift from his FATHER. He was gifted the GIFT OF GAB and the KNOWLEDGE OF KNOW HOW

As the winds that he represents, Gemini went into the chamber like a gush of Air and started collecting his share of gifts. Collecting his gifts was something he loved doing. Now all the material riches of the chamber had already been possessed by sister Taurus who was very carefully and possessive of her belongings. So, Gemini went for Language- Sound and its association. We have learnt that sound needs a medium to travel and that medium is Gemini. The forming of the link between people is what our brother Gemini is good at. So, he picked up communications in all its forms – Telephones, Wireless, Internet, Cables, Television, the YouTube, fax, computers, Mails- physical and emails. You name it and he had it. For that he needed the means to Knowledge to maintain the communication system so he also picked up information for it all along the way. This meant books, storytelling, narrations- anything pertaining to communication and information now belonged to Gemini. In the list of activities listed above let’s not forget the most melodious form of communication- singing.

Gemini is as practical as they come. He knew that riches only had value when they could be exchanged for something in return. For that you needed communication and from that business would prosper. Hence, he took hold of business which was in a way shoot off communication and information.

The tradesman qualities of the Gemini are something to be appreciated. He rarely losses a chance to click a good deal. And here in came to use his gift of gab. The glib tongue of his found use while trading. We also see the duality of his nature here. Communication is never perfect because the speaker speaks with his intent and the listen understands with his own. A gap between the two always exists. And the businessmen, traders, executives all use the gift of gab to their advantage or else the “Profit” would be a distant dream for them. The better the communication skills, the more the profit that can be garnered.

Let’s not forget that Gemini was born a trickster. And he has just improved his skills from there on. The quickness of the hand and the nimbleness of the fingers – Be it that of the thief or that of the writer all originate from the same source- our brother Gemini. The constant changes and ever running thoughts like the air which is his element represent the ephemeral nature of Gemini. Here now and gone again can be one way to describe him as he hates to be stagnant or controlled and thus can face relationship issues. As writing, speaking all are the views and perceptions of the person doing it, it is partial in nature and not the whole truth. On collecting his share of riches, brother Gemini left the chamber like the gale of wind he was.
